Full Job Description
ARAM Hospital is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Medical Lab Technician to join our diagnostic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting laboratory tests, collecting and processing samples, operating laboratory instruments, and ensuring accurate and timely reporting of results. A strong understanding of laboratory procedures and quality standards is essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform laboratory tests and analyze samples as per standard operating procedures.
- Conduct phlebotomy and collect blood and other biological samples from patients.
- Prepare and process specimens, including centrifugation, aliquoting, and proper labeling.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment such as microscopes, hematology and biochemistry analyzers
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure precision and reliability of test results.
- Maintain laboratory safety protocols and adhere to regulatory and infection-control standards.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Medical Laboratory Technology
- Strong knowledge of laboratory techniques and experience operating biochemistry and hematology auto-analyzers.
- Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience using Laboratory Information Systems (LIS)
- Familiarity with quality control and quality assurance procedures.
Timing: Work hours: Morning 6.30 am to 2.00 pm
